DOSAGENS DE NITROGÊNIO E PRODUÇÃO DE MENTA (MENTHA PIPERITA L.)

O objetivo do presente trabalho foi verificar a produção de matéria seca e óleo essencial de hortelã (Mentha piperita L.), sendo cultivada com diferentes dosagens de nitrogênio. O ensaio foi conduzido empregando um delineamento experimental em blocos casualizados com quatro blocos e oito tratamentos, sendo: T1 (0 kg.ha-¹de N); T2: (20 kg.ha-¹de N); T3: (40 kg.ha-¹de N); T4: (60 kg.ha-¹ de N); T5: (80 kg.ha-¹ de N); T6: (100 kg.ha-¹ de N); T7: (120 kg.ha-¹ de N) e T8: (140 kg.ha-¹ de N) e 32 repetições. Após completar 90 dias de cultivo as hortelãs foram colhidas e foi aferido o peso da matéria seca e a produção de óleo essencial. Ao final do experimento concluiu-se que o tratamento 8 com a maior dose de nitrogênio influiu de modo positivo na produção de matéria seca e óleo essencial.
