STRUCTURAL PROPULSORS FOR THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF MUNICIPALITIES

This article presents the thematic discussion about four drivers for the economic and social development of municipalities: local development, relationship networks, digital inclusion and distance education in higher education. It is a bibliographic and exploratory study that establishes reflections about the relationship between the main aspects of these four constructs. As a result, it is inferred that the relations between the four constructs are established positively in a mutual and reciprocal way within a scenario of expansion of opportunities for the local population in the economic and social spheres.
