CONCEPTIONS UNDERGRADUATES IN BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES IN MODALITIES DISTANCE EDUCATION AND ATTENDANCE: PLOTS IN INITIAL TRAINING

Science"™s conceptions of teachers have been targets of discussion of scholars and researchers, since these conceptions can influence the way they teach and learn science. The objective of this study is to analyze and discuss conceptions of science Degree students in Biological Sciences from different modalities, attendance and distance learning, two universities in the midwestern Brazil (State University of Goiás- EAD and Federal University of face Goiás-). The instrument was created according to the questionnaire VOSTS (Views on Science-Technology-Society). From the analysis of the data, we analyze the conceptions of undergraduate science and discussed relating to the training of science / biology teachers. The data revealed that although the students cursem different modes (attendance and distance education), both have similar views about science.
