Abstract

O objetivo do artigo é traçar um paralelo entre a perspectiva pedagógica presente na obra A República de Platão e as teorias
pedagógicas atuais, especialmente a pedagogia crítico-social dos conteúdos, defendidas no Brasil pelos teóricos Dermeval
Saviani e José C. Libâneo. A partir desse paralelo, discutimos as possibilidades de aplicação dessas teorias com enfoque no
ensino superior.
